I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I have a diverse professional background that includes: Exercise Physiologist/Kinesiologist in physical medicine clinics and 18 years in Education in a variety of roles (Special Education and General Education Teacher, Professional School Counselor and crisis/Student Impact Counselor). I am also a consultant and coach and have dedicated 16 years of helping athletes on biomechanics, injury prevention/recovery, mental resilience and achieve their full potential. My background helps me to combine a deep understanding of psychological principles with a passion for sports to enhance performance and well-being.
Specializing in mental training, I work with athletes at all levels, from youth sports to professional competitions. My approach focuses on developing mental resilience, improving focus, and managing performance anxiety through personalized strategies and techniques. I employ a range of methods, including visualization, mindfulness, and goal-setting, to help clients navigate the pressures of competition.​​ In addition to individual counseling, I work with teams to foster a supportive environment that promotes mental health in athletics. I am committed to creating tailored programs that meet the unique needs of each athlete, ensuring they not only excel in their sport but also maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.

I am a fierce advocate for mental health and enjoy serving all populations and am committed to creating a safe and accepting space for all persons. My role as a counselor is one in which I walk with you throughout a process of identifying, understanding, and learning ways to manage the situations and issues that present in your life.
