Misti Price, M.Ed, PSC, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Texas with a multidisciplinary background that integrates mental health counseling, kinesiology, education, and performance coaching. With over 19 years of experience in public education and more than 16 years supporting athletes, teens, and families, I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, performance stress, injury-related challenges, burnout, and major life transitions.
My professional experience includes working as an Exercise Physiologist/Kinesiologist in physical medicine clinics and serving in education as a Special Education Teacher, General Education Teacher, Professional School Counselor, and Crisis/Student Impact Counselor. This depth of experience allows me to provide highly informed, compassionate support to educators, neurodivergent individuals, and students navigating academic and emotional stress.
Educator Support & Burnout Recovery
I provide counseling and coaching support for teachers, school counselors, administrators, and education professionals experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, work-related stress, and role overload. Having spent nearly two decades in school systems, I understand the emotional demands, systemic pressures, and ethical challenges educators face. My work with educators focuses on stress management, boundary setting, emotional regulation, identity restoration, and sustainable career wellness.
Teens & Neurodivergent-Affirming Counseling
I work extensively with teens and adolescents navigating academic pressure, social challenges, emotional regulation, identity development, and performance expectations. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism spectrum traits, learning differences, sensory processing needs, and executive functioning challenges. My approach is strengths-based, affirming, and practical—helping clients better understand their brains while building skills for success at school, work, sports, and daily life.
Sports Performance & Injury-Related Counseling
I specialize in sports performance counseling and mental training for athletes at all levels, from youth sports to collegiate and professional competition. I support athletes navigating performance anxiety, injury recovery, confidence loss, burnout, and identity transitions. My approach blends evidence-based mental skills training—such as visualization, mindfulness, goal-setting, and focus strategies—with a strong understanding of biomechanics and physical recovery.
I also work with teams, coaches, and athletic organizations to foster mentally healthy team cultures and performance sustainability.
Women’s Mental Health & First Responder Support
I am passionate about supporting women and first responders who experience: fertility issues/pregnancy loss, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma exposure, caregiver fatigue, and life transitions. As the wife of a first responder, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to this work.
Therapeutic Philosophy
I am a fierce advocate for mental health and am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds and neurotypes. My counseling style is collaborative, strengths-based, and action-oriented. I walk alongside clients as they build insight, resilience, and effective coping strategies. For clients who desire it, I am always happy to integrate a Christ-centered, faith-based approach into counseling.
It would be an honor to support you, your family, or your professional journey.
